Privacy Notice
Last updated: 16 July 2026
The AI Readiness Index (“AIRI”, “we”) is a diagnostic tool that assesses an organisation’s readiness for AI. This notice explains what personal data we collect when you use it, why, and how long we keep it. It is written in plain English and is not a substitute for formal legal advice.
What we collect
- Account & contact details: your name, email address, and the organisation, role, region and industry you provide when you are invited to or enrol in an assessment.
- Assessment responses: the answers and any free-text comments you submit, and the scores derived from them.
- Security & audit logs: to keep the service secure and accountable, we record security-relevant events (such as sign-ins, invitations, and administrative changes) together with the date and time, your IP address, and your browser’s user-agent string.
Why we use it
- To deliver the assessment, produce your results, and benchmark responses.
- To send you a secure sign-in link and service-related messages.
- To protect the service: detecting and investigating unauthorised access, and maintaining an accountable record of administrative actions.
Benchmarking & sharing
We never ask for sensitive personal information (health, ethnicity, religion, sexuality, or similar “special category” data) as part of the assessment.
Your individual responses are used to generate your own results and are not shared with other organisations. However, results may be combined with those of other respondents into anonymised, aggregated benchmarks (for example, showing how an industry or region compares overall), which may be shown to other users of AIRI or included in reports. Aggregated benchmarks do not identify you or your organisation individually.
How long we keep it
Account and assessment data is retained for as long as your assessment is active and is deleted when the administrator removes your record or organisation. Security and audit logs (including IP addresses) are automatically deleted 12 months after they are created.
Who processes it
We use trusted service providers to run AIRI, who process data on our behalf: hosting (Vercel), database (Neon), email delivery (Resend), and AI-generated summaries (Google). These providers may process data in the United States. We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict its use. To make a request, or if you have any questions about this notice, contact us at support@aireadinessindex.net.
